Gwendraeth Valley Recycling Ltd was formed in 2009 to establish a facility to deal with waste generated in the course of the company’s own operations and that would also provide clients with a legal, more cost effective and sustainable alternative to disposing of their construction & demolition wastes at landfill.

The business and recycling facility are based on the site of the former Cynheidre Colliery, which is located approximately 7 miles west of Llanelli town off the B4309 Llanelli –Carmarthen highway. The business is ideally located to serve the surrounding areas of the Gwendraeth Valley, Llanelli and Carmarthen.

Our current recycling, demolition and clearance services cover a broad range of related disciplines, which can benefit the client with a ‘1 stop shop‘ solution to their requirements.

Our company’s ongoing commitment to achieving and surpassing the European Union Framework Directive target of recycling 70% of non hazardous Construction and Demolition waste by 2020, shall enable our clients to demonstrate they are implementing best practice in regard to their environmental responsibilities.
