Why Buy Recycled?

Buying and using recycled aggregates are in most cases a cheaper, more sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to buying primary aggregates from a quarry.

All of our recycled aggregates are produced in accordance with our companys quality protocol which ensures each product is manufactured to a consistent specification, ensuring quality.

Our recycled aggregate can be produced and tested to conform to Department Of Highways Specification when required by a customer.

Recycled aggregates are not subject to the current £ 1.90 per to aggregate levy as are quarried products. This saving can be passed on to the customer when they chose to use recycled aggregate.

In some circumstances your project may need to dispose of unsuitable excavated waste and replace this with hardcore or soil.

At Gwendraeth Valley Recycling’s facility you can dispose of your Inert or Green Waste and purchase recycled aggregate to deliver to your site in one vehicle movement, saving you time, fuel and the cost of quarry aggregates.

Gwendraeth Valley Recycling can also provide a quote for excavating, site clearance, providing and delivering, spreading compacting recycled aggregate or soil if required.

Mass Concrete / Slab / Foundation Breaking Up and Processing | Contract Concrete Crushing Print Email

Concrete CrushingGwendraeth Valley Recycling (Carmarthenshire) can now offer a mass concrete/ foundation/ slab breaking out and processing service.

We would interested in quoting for and undertaking any concrete breaking / processing / crushing / disposal works throughout West Wales, although work outside of this area may be considered.

Why Us?

Due to the resources and knowledge needed to carry out our associated Demolition and recycling yard activities, our company has the experience and plant to break up and process mass re-enforced concrete into a more manageable size. Dependant on the clients requirements, the processed concrete can the either be disposed of off site at our inert waste recycling yard or we can further process the material in a jaw crusher to produce a re-usable secondary aggregate that can remain on site, saving the client on disposal costs, vehicle hire, buying primary aggregate from quarries and minimising excessive vehicle movements around the site area which can lead to further problems.

Our company operates a 26ton Tracked mobile crusher that can process your waste into a valuable commodity. If aggregate was needed at the development, the reuse of this processed material substitute for buying and importing expensive quarry aggregate. The savings made can sometimes be equal to the cost of processing.

Gwendraeth Valley Recycling operates an Inert & Green Waste recycling facility. If processed material is not needed at the project the client has the option of disposing of their hardcore waste at our facility.

Our company’s commitment to recycling means that where possible we avoid disposing of waste at landfill which is unsustainable and expensive.

Any waste materials that can be processed on site into a commodity that can be re-used on site are identified, as are waste materials that can be recycled but are not needed on site would be transported to our recycling facility for processing.

Any commingled / mixed waste present at the site is assessed to ascertain whether the cost of the wastes disposal at landfill can eliminated or reduced by processing the waste by screening and sorting to remove and recover the recyclable materials from the mixed waste.

As always and especially during the current economic climate our estimator shall endeavour to provide the most competitive quote possible.

As costing is heavily influenced by Asbestos waste disposal costs at licensed landfill / transfer stations and also the location / condition of the Asbestos Containing Material that is to be removed, we would not be able to provide a sound quote without visiting the removal site.
